Charlotte Lorimer will be talking about John Henry Lorimer's portraits of Edinburgh characters to complement the Edinburgh City Art Centre Exhibition ‘Unmasked: Exploring Scottish Portraiture’. The artist’s great great niece Charlotte Lorimer tells stories of three sitters: antiques dealer Louis Joseph Butti (exhibited at the City Art Centre), women’s rights campaigner Sarah Elizabeth Siddons Mair, and University of Edinburgh professor John Stuart Blackie.
